Floating Dock Maintenance
Clean it.
Just like boats, floating docks require regular cleaning and maintenance. Heavy marine growth adds weight to the floating dock, placing unnecessary stress on hardware, gangway connections and support pilings.
Cleanings are recommended at a minimum every year. Depending on salinity, floating docks may need to be cleaned on a more frequent basis. Contact us for a free quote.
Inspect it.
Weather and tides can loosen hardware on your floating dock. Most floating dock manufacturers recommend an annual inspection. Once it’s clean, we can inspect it.
All hardware is checked during the inspection. We will also check the alignment and hardware on the connection between the fixed dock and the floating dock. All loose hardware will be tightened and noted in the inspection report.
